Geri Delevich is an active member of the New Hope community, serving on borough council for eighteen years, endorsed by both Equality Pennsylvania and the Victory Fund. In 2002 she initiated a landmark ordinance, making New Hope the first borough in the state of Pennsylvania to adopt a comprehensive Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender inclusive non-discrimination ordinance. Passage of the ordinance resulted in New Hope being honored by the Human Rights Campaign with its Equality Award. Geri was distinguished as the New Hope/Lambertville Rotary Club’s Citizen of the Year.

 As an award-winning teacher, Ms. Delevich loved her career working with children in the Central Bucks School District for 33 years.

In addition to Embraceable You, Ms. Delevich has produced films relating to environmental issues, accomplished senior citizens, school to work, and LGBT rights.
